A native Detroiter with over two decades of experience in sales, marketing, and brand building, Katie Kutscher brings a vibrant, entrepreneurial energy to real estate—where professional expertise meets a deep passion for community development. Katie’s foundation was laid at Michigan State University, where she earned a BA in Communications before rising to the position of New York Region Marketing Director at Universal Music Group. Her entrepreneurial spirit eventually led her to the hospitality industry in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, where she successfully built and opened two music and art-focused venues. These experiences honed her ability to manage complex projects with poise and a sharp eye for detail.

After returning to Michigan to raise her two children in Huntington Woods, Katie channeled her talents into the revitalization of Berkley’s downtown. Since 2016, she has been a pivotal force in the local business landscape, opening the beloved Berkley Common and developing commercial spaces that have brought acclaimed tenants like Slows BBQ and The Beverly to the area. Her work is driven by a profound sense of investment in the places people call home, earning her the title of Businessperson of the Year in 2022.

Today, Katie is recognized as a top-producing agent within the President’s Circle at Real Estate One. Her approach is characterized by a concierge-level service that blends her marketing savvy with an intuitive understanding of the Michigan market. Whether she is serving on the Berkley Chamber of Commerce board or volunteering with the Huntington Woods Men’s Club, her focus remains on the progress and well-being of her community.
